With bank lending severely reduced, some companies are seeking equity capital. Mr. Tilson has over 20 years of experience in setting up these private equity and venture funds, advising their managers, and representing them in investment transactions. He has managed more than 300 private financial investments and has relationships with 200 funds nationwide.

Mr. Tilson is equally skilled in representing companies from growth stage to middle market maturity in capital fund raising. For over 20 years, he has advised a variety of companies seeking new sources of capital through private offerings. The varieties of financing options are numerous and Mr. Tilson has experience with all of them.

Mr Tilson has significant experience with information technology, digital commerce , software, electronics , new media, communications, healthcare and life science companies.

Mr. Tilson chairs the Southeast Investor Group, composed of Southeastern venture capital fund partners, super angel investors, and corporate venture partners who meet monthly to review investment opportunities in selected companies.
