He has managed more than 300 private financial investments and has relationships with 200 funds nationwide.

For over 20 years, he has advised a variety of companies seeking new sources of capital through private offerings. Mr. Tilson chairs the Southeast Investor Group, composed of Southeastern venture capital fund partners, super angel investors, and corporate venture partners who meet monthly to review investment opportunities in selected companies.
